Tutoring Programs

We assist our students by going back to the foundation and filling in the missing conceptual gaps that are hindering your child's success. John Hooi's method is to consolidate current expectations and then move ahead of requirements. Our Slogan is to "work smart" not inefficiently.

Our program provide affordable "One-on-One" tutoring in your home, offering much better value and results than other learning centers that generally offer a "One-to-Four" teacher-student ratio. Your child shouldn't have to wait to learn, and our "One-on-One" sessions guarantee them the personalized attention they need and deserve. We also feel that convenience is important. Therefore we eliminate the inconvenience of you having to come to us and instead we come to you.

Current Offering

Tutor Doctor is currently offering a FREE no-obligation professional consultation to all interested clients. This provides a detailed evaluation of the student's strengths and challenges. We use this to pinpoint each student's grade and age performance, allowing us to ascertain their current academic position. This consultation will also help us understand the student's challenges, so that we can develop the right game plan to help them succeed. Additionally, Tutor Doctor uses this information to monitor each student's progress along the way.

Our Process

  • Set Goals: We come to your home for a free consultation. We want to understand your student’s goals and create an individualized learning plan.
  • Match: We will match the best tutor for you based on academic requirements, personality, learning style, mentoring needs, geography and schedule.
  • Tutor: Your tutor will come to your home and tutor according the goals we set initially.
  • Report: Session reports can be sent to your email address for each tutoring session. These reports help parents stay in tune with how their student is progressing.
